Hi ya'll
I've had one of those brain-dead luxuriously lethargic weekends...ooooh delicious. On Saturday I lounged around the house doing NOTHING and in the evening went to watch American Gangster by myself. It was almost three hours of staring at gorgeous Denzel Washington. He has the most beautiful lopsided grin.
Then on Sunday...I swear...other than a couple of minutes here and there to eat or visit the loo (doesn't it sound way cooler and more dignified than bathroom?)...I was in my bedroom reading the whole day from morning to nighttime. I read the Da Vinci Code and a couple of Chicken Soup for the Soul books. My textbooks and assignments and chores were ignored and it was gloriously refreshing.
The semester is almost over...in just two weeks I'm going to have 3 weeks break. I plan on going to Seattle for a quick visit, looking for a job & volunteer position, and getting out and about the city.
Where the hell did time go? I swear I just blink and *woosh* there goes another month...It's crazy ya'll...
Any of you have plans for Eid? It's a little hard to excited for this Eid I feel...I could honestly care less when it comes. It's not like I have a ton of fun anyway.

I'll leave you with this recurrent exchange that just pisses me off....
My brother's favourite way of ending an argument or conversation:
Him: "I don't have to listen to the rantings of a feminist!"
Me: "...? I thought we were talking about ----. What the hell does that have to do with feminism?'
Him: "Absolutely nothing...but anything you say can be discredited by my calling you a feminist. Ha ha ha".
The stinkin' little maggot.

My classes are over Dec 4th. I think I have a couple of finals after that. Crazy!
I did exactly what you described. I did NOTHING. I payed for it this weekend. I have to write papers like crazy because I was useless last week.
You are brave for going to the movies alone, I haven't tried that one yet. However, I did watch 4 movies on Thursday back to back.

I am so happy for you there is nothing better sometimes then doing nothing. I love Denzel, i like how he is arrogant in his roles. I loved him most in Malcom X i cried when he died and i am not usually that emotional. Any wayz goodluck on your last few weeks of the semester. Take care sweats!

Sounds like you had just the right kind of weekend (and well-deserved too). I adore sitting still somewhere and staring at a spider's carcass for hours. Not a thought or a single muscle twitch. I refuse to do anything!
Hope you're rested and Seattle is super cool. A little chilly this time of year but better than hell's buttocks 'round here.

Woww, everY1 is so excited about u having the time(to do nothing),I think it's a western thing to be busy all the time!!
My finals r right after eleid so I don't think I'll be doing much ,except panic and study a day before the break is over ,like I always do!!!!
Denzel is HOT wallahi ,I was just watching an old movie about football where he was playing the coach, any movie starring denzel is on my favorite movies list :-)
