Product review: Lush Bath Bombs
(Image from here)I’m a really sucker for nice, eager salespeople. I wasn’t planning on buying anything today when I went to the mall but a sweet salesgirl at Lush made me change my mind quick. She spent alot of time telling me all about the handmade, delicious smelling soaps that I thought it would be quite rude of me to leave without at least purchasing one.
I love Lush. Actually, every time I come to the mall the smell alone tantalizes me and I go in following the scent that waifs in and out of its doors. After half an hour of looking through all the products I choose two bath bombs. I don’t know the last time I had a bath, I've mainly had showers. I’ve been looking forward to relax in a tub of warm water for a long time.
Last night a drew a warm bath, threw in the Honeybee bomb, and sunk in the enveloping warmness. The bomb at once starting fizzing and spreading it’s fragrance around the room. The bathwater turned a sunny yellow colour and I felt the tension fade from my muscles and joints. I stayed in the tub a long time, half asleep with contentment. My skin felt so soft from the moisturizer in the bomb and the honey fragrance lingered on my skin for a while afterward.
The only problem I had with it was the price. Those two bath bombs cost a freakin' fortune. A bit over $12 for both. If I wasn’t such an impulse buyer and didnt feel sorry for the salesgirl I would’ve just walked away after seeing the price tag.
Oh well, there is a first time for everything I suppose. It was nice experience. I can’t wait to try the butterball next. I’ve read alot of rave reviews about it’s moisturizing property exceeding all the other bath bombs -- my ultra dry skin needs all the help it can get!
