My 'lose weight in a fun & easy way' plan

Instead of forking over $40 going to the gym and going around huffing like trained monkeys on unappealing pieces of equipment, sweated on by thousands of other people (ewww, germs galore) here is my drawn out plan for losing 10-15 lbs in 4 months (being very, very optimistic).

  • Replace junkfood (irresistable, the hardest part) with fruits and veggies
  • Cut down on portion sizes
  • Drink lots and lots of water (8 glasses/day)
  • Cut down on fruit juices
  • Walk, Walk, Walk everywhere (unless it would take longer than half an hour- then take a bus in that case)
  • Use stairs instead of elevator
  • Get off two blocks ahead of stop and walk
  • Have dessert/treats sparingly and in small portions
  • Drink lots of milk

Let’s see how this goes! I’ll update weekly on my progress. I really, really hope that I keep up my motivation and that by the end of this semester I have something to show for all the upcoming hard work. Resisting my favourite foods is the hardest thing I will have to undergo this year.
