Hallucinations

In biology class the professor was explaining a research study in which the subjects have been blindfolded for close to 48 hours to see how their visual system would cope with the sudden ‘blindness’. It was reported that over 80% of the subjects experienced some form of hallucination—from the very simple floating objects to complex scenes of paranoia. Some adamantly believed ‘God’ himself was talking to them and/or Satan was telling them cause harm. That got me really interested and I paid close attention throughout the lecture…I’ve always wondered how hallucinating felt like. What possible events would my mind conjure up? Trying khat is looking more and more appealing. I truly hope I stay strong and just say NO!

Whether or not they will listen to me is another matter :-)
